Lamine Yamal jersey: where to buy and iconic versions

Chris Yohou Avatar

Lamine Yamal turned 19 on July 13, 2026. Six days later he was a world champion, and by the end of that month he had become the youngest player in history to win both a European Championship and a World Cup. This guide covers where to buy the Lamine Yamal jersey today, what each version costs, and the one detail that trips up most first-time buyers: he does not wear the same number for Barcelona and for Spain.

Where can I buy the Lamine Yamal jersey?

There are two current shirts, and they are not interchangeable. The Barcelona 2026-27 home shirt carries YAMAL 10. The Spain 2026 home shirt carries YAMAL 19. Both are sold through Fanatics with official printing added at checkout, and both exist in Authentic and Replica versions.

Since Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the final on July 19, 2026, Adidas has also released a Winners edition of the Spain home shirt: the same kit with two stars above the crest and the official FIFA World Cup 2026 Champions badge on the chest. It is the version most buyers actually want right now, and it is a different product from the standard 2026 home shirt — check the chest badge before you pay.

US pricing sits at roughly $150 for the Authentic (player-spec) edition, around $100 for the Replica, and about $85 for kids sizes, with name and number printing typically $20-30 extra. Older Yamal shirts — the Euro 2024 Spain kit, the 2023-24 and 2024-25 Barcelona shirts from his breakthrough seasons — are already collector territory and are best hunted through specialists like Classic Football Shirts.

YAMAL 10 or YAMAL 19? Both are correct

This is the single most common mistake when ordering a Yamal shirt, and it is worth getting right before you pay for personalization that cannot be returned.

ShirtNumberSince
Barcelona (home, away, third, UCL)102025-26 season
Spain (World Cup 2026, Euro 2024)19Senior debut
Barcelona, before 2025-26192023-24 and 2024-25

Yamal inherited Barcelona’s number 10 for the 2025-26 season, the shirt previously worn by Diego Maradona, Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi. He kept it for 2026-27. But he has never changed his Spain number: he wore 19 at Euro 2024 as a 16-year-old, and he wore 19 through the 2026 World Cup.

So a Spain shirt printed YAMAL 10 is wrong, and a current Barcelona shirt printed YAMAL 19 is wrong too — though the second one is historically accurate if you are buying a 2023-24 or 2024-25 Barça shirt, which is exactly why retro listings from those two seasons carry the 19.

The story behind the Lamine Yamal jersey

Yamal came through La Masia and made his first-team debut for Barcelona in April 2023, at 15 years and 290 days, the youngest debutant in the club’s modern history. He wore 41, then 27, then 19. The 19 is the number most associated with his breakthrough: it is the shirt he wore when he became the youngest player and youngest scorer in European Championship history at Euro 2024, and the one Spain kept for him afterwards.

The move to 10 in the summer of 2025 was the club making a statement about who he had become. At Barcelona the number carries a weight that no other shirt number in football quite matches, and handing it to an 18-year-old was not a neutral decision. He answered it with 24 goals and 18 assists in 45 appearances across the 2025-26 season.

The 2026 World Cup was, by his own standards, a quiet tournament. He arrived carrying a hamstring problem, started seven of Spain’s eight matches and scored once. But Spain won every game he started, he finished the tournament as its most prolific dribbler with 30 completed take-ons, and at 19 years and one day old he won a penalty in a knockout match — the second-youngest player to do so in sixty years. The final in New York ended 1-0 against Argentina, and the shirt he wore that night is now the one people are looking for.

Design analysis: what makes each Yamal shirt different

Spain 2026 home (Adidas)

A deep red body with dark navy sleeves — a sharper contrast than Spain’s recent kits. The three stripes on the shoulders run red-yellow-red, taking the colours of the flag. Thin vertical yellow pinstripes with dotted detailing run down the body, and España is printed inside the back of the collar. Released on November 6, 2025.

  • Winners edition: two gold stars above the crest and the official 2026 World Cup winners patch on the upper front
  • Fabric: Adidas HEAT.RDY on the Authentic, AEROREADY on the Replica
  • Crest: embroidered on the Authentic, heat-transfer on the Replica
  • Sponsor: none — national team shirts carry no chest sponsor

Barcelona 2026-27 home (Nike)

The blaugrana stripes with the Spotify chest sponsor and the Nike swoosh, in deep garnet and blue void for 2026-27. The Stadium replica uses Dri-FIT with ventilated mesh panelling and a regular fit; the Authentic uses Nike’s Dri-FIT ADV match fabric with a slim competition cut. Barcelona shirts also come in a UCL edition with Champions League sleeve badges, which is a separate product from the domestic version.

The away shirt is the interesting one this season. Nike built the 2026-27 Barcelona away kit as a tribute to Kobe Bryant: a black-to-purple gradient with iridescent gold logos in Lakers colours, a textured snake print nodding to the Black Mamba nickname, and a Kobe quote printed inside the collar. It is the shirt Barcelona fans are actually talking about, and it carries YAMAL 10 like the rest of the range.

Which one to buy: for most people, the Spain 2026 Winners Replica with YAMAL 19. It is the shirt of the final, the champions badge is what makes it worth owning in ten years, and the Replica is a third cheaper than the Authentic for the same look. If you want the collector’s pick instead, it is the Euro 2024 Spain shirt with 19 — the kit he wore when he became the youngest scorer in the tournament’s history at 16, and one that will not be reprinted.

Sizing and care guide

Sizing: both Adidas and Nike Authentic shirts run slim, so go one size up unless you want a competition fit. Replicas run true to size. Kids sizes use the age-based chart at checkout, not adult sizing — a common source of returns.

  • Wash cold (max 30°C / 86°F), inside out
  • No bleach, no fabric softener — both damage technical fabrics and crest prints
  • Air dry only, never tumble dry
  • Iron inside out on low heat, avoiding printed elements and the champions badge

Frequently asked questions

What number does Lamine Yamal wear?
Ten for Barcelona since the 2025-26 season, and nineteen for Spain. He wore 19 for Barcelona in 2023-24 and 2024-25 before inheriting the 10.

What is the difference between the Spain 2026 shirt and the Winners edition?
The Winners edition adds two stars above the crest and the FIFA World Cup 2026 Champions badge on the chest. Everything else is identical. It was released after Spain beat Argentina in the final on July 19, 2026.

Does the shirt come with YAMAL printed on it?
No. Printing is a paid add-on at checkout, usually $20-30 for official lettering. Choose the number that matches the shirt: 19 for Spain, 10 for Barcelona.

Where can I find the Euro 2024 Yamal shirt?
It is out of production. Classic Football Shirts and verified eBay sellers are the reliable routes. Check the crest, the tournament badge and the printing font before paying.

Is the Fanatics Yamal jersey official?
Yes. Fanatics sells officially licensed RFEF and FC Barcelona merchandise, so current shirts ship with official Adidas or Nike tags.

Which Yamal shirt will hold its value?
The Spain 2026 Winners shirt, because of the champions badge, and the Euro 2024 Spain shirt, because it cannot be reprinted. Standard club shirts are replaced every season and rarely appreciate.
