At Stadio Olimpico, Gianpiero Gasperini’s players struggled to beat a good side of Lille. Hakon Arnar Haraldsson scored at the 6th minute of the game, giving the French the lead. Roma were never able to score even if they got 3 chances to score a penalty (!!!) all saved by the goalkeeper Berke Ozer who was logically gifted with the Man of The Match Trophy. Lille won their two games this season in Europa League and are now 6th, Roma are 16th.
Feyenoord 0-2 Aston Villa

Dominated in a big part of the game, Aston Villa did a fantastic realistic job by winning 2-0 in the Nederlands, indeed Unai Emery’s players took their second win this season in Europa League in as many games. With only 0.65 expected goals and 6 shots in the game, they took their opportunity at the 61st minute of the game with Argentinian Emiliano Buendia after a recovery and the assist from Boubacar Kamara. John McGinn doubled the scoreline at the 79th minute after a wonderful counterattack.
Nottingham Forest 2-3 Midtjylland
Dan Ndoye 22′ and Chris Wood 90+3′ (penalty) for Nottingham. Ousmane Diao 18′, Mads Sorensen 24′ and Valdemar Byskov 88′ for Midtjylland.
In a prolific game, Nottingham Forest lost at home against a fighful Danish team of Midtjylland. With both teams using the 3-4-3 formation, strikers were shining this evening, it started with Ousmane Diao at the 18th minute, Nottingham Forest immediately responded with Dan Ndoye with a surgical counterattack. And because it was not enough, Midtjylland scored their second goal only two minutes later with Mads Sorensen after a confusion in Forest’s defense following a corner. Nottingham kept pushing the whole game until the 88th minute where Midtjylland scored the 3-1 after a superb counterattack finished by Byskov, Chris Wood reduced the score at 2-3 at in extra time with a penalty.
Porto 2-1 Crvena Zvezda
William Gomes 8′ (penalty) and Rodrigo Mora 89′ for Porto. Vasilije Kostov 32′ for Crvena Zvezda.
Porto were the favorite of this game, but the Portuguese were in difficulties in front of the goal, with only 4 shots on target after 17 in total, Francesco Farioli’s players were surprisingly inaccurate. However it started well with a penalty provoked by Deniz Gul after a foul from Franklin Tebo. Penalty scored by William Gomes. But at the 32′ minute, Crvena Zvezda equalized with Kostov. Porto had to wait the 89′ minute and a fast counterattack to see their efforts pay off. Goal from Rodrigo Mora and Porto have now won all of their 9 games all competitions combined.
