They finally scored at the 66′ minute thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu, they scored the 2-0 goal only 5 minutes later with Petar Sucic. They obtained a penalty at the end of the game as Fiorentina defender Mattia Viti got ejected with a second yellow card. Calhanoglu scored the penalty for the brace, he scored his 4th and 5th goals in Serie A this season (7 games).
Inter are now 3rd in Serie A 3 points behind Napoli and Roma. Fiorentina are now 19th.
