Overview

The Brazil women's national football team represents Brazil in international women's association football and is governed by the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol, the national federation founded in 1914. The team competes in CONMEBOL, the South American football confederation, and has historically been among the stronger sides in the continent. Brazil has participated in multiple FIFA Women's World Cups and Olympic tournaments, reaching the final of the 2007 Women's World Cup, where they were defeated by Germany.

The squad has produced several internationally recognised players over the decades. Marta, widely regarded as one of the greatest women's footballers of all time, represented Brazil across multiple generations of the team. Among the current players, Camila Rodrigues, Claudia, Kemelli, Lelê, T. Lima, and Lorena feature in the setup. The team has not won a major senior international title at the time of writing.
