Overview

The Egypt under-23 national football team represents Egypt in international youth competitions, including the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations and the Olympic Games football tournament. The team is administered by the Egyptian Football Association, which was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest football federations on the African continent. Egypt has historically been among the stronger African sides at youth level, producing players who have gone on to represent the senior national team.
