Liechtenstein W represent the country in international football.
Overview
The Liechtenstein women's national football team represents the Principality of Liechtenstein in international women's football and is governed by the Liechtenstein Football Association. The team competes in UEFA European qualifying campaigns, though it has not recorded a major senior tournament title. Given the country's very small population, the team faces considerable structural challenges in player development and depth compared to larger footballing nations.
The squad includes several players who have contributed regularly to the national setup, among them M. Göldi, B. Huber, T. Sele, M. Bischofberger, S. Kollmann, and F. Scherrer. These players form a core group around which the coaching staff builds competitive selections.
Despite the limitations that come with representing one of Europe's smallest states, the team participates consistently in UEFA qualifying competition. This continued participation reflects an organizational commitment to sustaining women's football within the country at the international level.
