Micky van de Ven scored his team’s third goal and celebrates with teammates Lucas Bergvall, Xavi Simons, and Cristian Romero.

Motivated by their first European trophy ever (Europa League 2025), Tottenham are looking for new challenges in Premier League as they never won championship. With new coach Thomas Frank and a promising game against Paris Saint Germain in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup Final, the Spurs are making encouraging progress.

For this London Derby between West Ham and Tottenham for the count of the 4th day of Premier League, the Spurs took time to dismiss the Hammers. Tottenham won the game 3-0 at the London Stadium.

After a complicated first half for both teams, things changed at the break, with Tottenham starting to accumulate chances. Pape Matar Sarr (47′) scored from a corner taken by new signing Xavi Simons.

It has come more difficult again for West Ham when Thomas Soucek got ejected with a red card (54′), three minutes later, Lucas Bergvall scored a header (57′) after a long forward pass from the argentinian defender Cristian Romero. Micky Van de Ven (64′) scored the third and final goal of the game to make West Ham’s defeat even worse.

With this away win, Tottenham are now Premier League leader (waiting for Liverpool’s result) alongside their London rivals Arsenal.
