You did not want to miss the end of the first half. After a dull opening period largely dominated by Manchester United, Aston Villa produced a moment of brilliance through Morgan Rogers. On the left side, the Englishman cut inside onto his right foot and unleashed a stunning strike into the top corner. Villa then switched off while playing out from the back, and a mistake from Cash allowed Cunha to equalize.
But Manchester United conceded again, once more through Rogers and his magical left foot. Aston Villa held on and secured a tenth consecutive win. Villa remain three points behind Arsenal and now sit seven points clear of Chelsea.
