City survive a scare

In the 68th minute at the Etihad, Manchester City suddenly found themselves rattled by Leeds. Up 2–0 and seemingly in control, City’s recurring defensive issues resurfaced as Dominic Calvert-Lewin turned into a real menace. The former Everton striker, subbed on at halftime, scored the 2–1 goal before winning the penalty converted by Nmecha for the equalizer.
Fortunately for City, their attack remains unstoppable. After an overwhelming first half that built the two-goal cushion, they pushed again late on, and Phil Foden delivered the decisive winner in the dying minutes.
City climb back to second place ahead of tomorrow’s Chelsea–Arsenal blockbuster.
Sunderland win in pure chaos

Sunderland dug deep to defeat Bournemouth at the Stadium of Light. Down 0–2 after a disastrous opening 15 minutes, the Black Cats turned to Enzo Le Fée for salvation. The Frenchman converted a penalty before assisting Brian Brobbey for the 69th-minute lead—two goals sandwiched around Bertrand Traoré’s equalizer.
Sunderland continue to show remarkable mental strength. After snatching a stunning win at Stamford Bridge and a last-gasp draw against Arsenal, this comeback further proves the Black Cats’ exceptional fighting spirit.
