An exceptional Italia beats Estonia

With the 2026 World Cup in target, Italia showed the best of themselves as they beat Estonia 5-0 (Moise Kean 58′, Mateo Retegui 69′ and 89′, Giacomo Raspadori 71′ and Alessandro Bastoni 90+2′).

Moise Kean scored the first goal for Italia

For the count of the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, Italia received Estonia in the Gewiss Stadium.

Despite a 0-0 draw at half-time, Gennaro Gattuso’s squad were far superior which can explain the 40 shots attempted in the game for Italia. Estonia’s defense were not able to contain Italia’s opportunities in the second half.

During the break, we can imagine that Gennaro Gattuso had a powerful speech to his players as the italian steamroller came in. With these 5 goals scored and the victory. The Squadra Azzura keeps its 3rd place of group I (with one game less than Israel and Norway) and can look forward to summer 2026 with confidence.
