AC Milan 2-2 Pisa SC
Rafael Leao 7′ and Zachary Athekame 90+3′ for Milan. Juan Cuadrado 60′ (penalty) and Mbala Nzola 86′ for Pisa.

Undefeated for 7 games before this one against Pisa, AC Milan needed a win to keep the 1st place alone after 8 matchdays. Unfortunately for Massimiliano Allegri’s players, the party got spoiled by a surprising Pisa side. Even if they did not lose the game, Milan can have regrets as they dominated the whole game. Pisa only needed 2 shots on target to score twice !
It started well for Milan with Rafael Leao scoring his 3rd goal in Serie A this season. In the second half Juan Cuadrado the former Juventus player equalized with a penalty. Milan were never able to score the 2nd goal and Pisa even took the advantage at the end of the game. At the 86′ minute, Mbala Nzola scored to make it 2-1. Fortunately for AC Milan, they equalized in extra time with Zachary Athekame to avoid what could have been a nightmare for the players and the fans.
AC Milan are still Serie A leader with 17 points but could go down 4th today after Rome, Napoli and Inter games. Pisa are 17th and are still winless in Serie A after 8 games.
