Barcelona 3-1 Alaves
Lamine Yamal 8′ and Dani Olmo 26′ and 90’+3 for Barcelona. Pablo Ibáñez 1′ for Alaves.
After their terrible loss in UEFA Champions League against Chelsea, Barcelona needed to focus on LaLiga and take precious points to stay leader at the expense of Real Madrid, it started really badly for Hansi Flick’s players as they conceded the first goal at very 1st minute of the game.

With Alaves unexpectedly leading after a mistake on corner from Barcelona’s defense, the Blaugranas had to show the quality of their team. And when we talk about Barcelona’s qualities, we are forced to talk about Lamine Yamal, the Spanish star is decisive once again this season. He scored the equalizer at the 10′ minute, his 5th goal in La Liga this season.
Alaves did not stop creating chances as they could have even scored a second goal at the 24′ minute but Joan Garcia made a brilliant save. Barcelona showed the rest of the 1st half that the first goal conceded was a mistake and that they were clearly focused on this game. At the 26′ minute, Dani Olmo scored and helped his team to take the lead, assist from Raphinha after a cross.
Barcelona dominated the rest of the game and “only” scored the 3rd goal in extra time with Dani Olmo scoring a brace, assist from Lamine Yamal. With this win, Barcelona take back La Liga’s 1st spot with 34 points (waiting for Real Madrid’s game). Alaves are 14th with 15 points.
