Bayern Munchen 2-2 Mainz 05
Lennart Karl 29′ and Harry Kane 87′ (penalty) for Bayern. Kacper Potulski 45’+2 and Jae-sung Lee 67′ for Mainz.

In recent weeks, Bayern has finally shown some signs of nervousness. After a record start to the season, Vincent Kompany’s players have been dropping points lately, and that was the case again today against Mainz.
However, 17 years old German young star Lennart Karl opened the scoring in the 27th minute (his 6th goal already this season). But then, Mainz equalized just before the break.
In the second half they even took the advantage with Jae-sung Lee at the 67′ minute. With 85% of ball possession in the game and 4 xG to 0.6, Bayern Munchen can have regrets.
Fortunately for them, at the end of the game, they were given a penalty that Harry Kane transformed into a goal (his 29th this season). Bayern were not able to win this game despite their clear dominance.
Bayern are still Bundesliga leaders with 38 points, 9 points in front of the second Dortmund. Mainz are 18th with 7 points.
