Crazy game and win for Barcelona

Real Betis 3-5 FC Barcelona

Antony 6′, Diego Llorente 85′ and Cucho Hernández 90′ (penalty) for Betis. Roony Bardghji 31′, Ferran Torres 40′, 13′, 11′ and Lamine Yamal 59′ (penalty) for Barcelona.

Betis received Barcelona for the count of the 16th matchday in La Liga and both teams put on a magnificent show as Barcelona ended this unbelievable scenario as winners.

Barcelona are currently in need of important points in La Liga to keep the pressure on Real Madrid for the title at the end of the season. It is things done today in Séville with a great win but the Blaugranas conceded 3 goals in what was a spectacular game.

Betis opened the scoreline with the unpredictable Antony. But then, Barcelona’s attack set off and never stopped. Ferran Torres equalized for Barcelona at the 11′ minute before scoring a brace 2 minutes later to help Barcelona take the lead. Bardghji scored the 3rd goal at the 31′ minute as Barcelona was unstoppable from there.

And because it was not enough, Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick at the 40′ minute as Barcelona went to the locker room with an advantage of 3 goals. Lamine Yamal decided to be a part of the party as he scored a penalty at the 59′ minute. We all thought Barcelona was going to win with a large score but in the end, Betis showed their ressources and scored 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of the game in what finished as a classic for soccer fans. 3-5.

With this epic win, Barcelona keep their 1st place in La Liga with 40 points and have now won their last 5 games in the Spanish championship. Betis are 5th with 24 points.
