Cristian Chivu’s players dominated Lazio Rome in front of their fans, in Milan with a solid performance which allows them to continue their momentum in the league. This year’s Serie A is very close.
Only 8 shots for both teams as the game was a great midfield battle. Lautaro Martinez scored the first goal for Inter very early at the 3′ minute. Yann Sommer saved his team a couple of times and Inter’s defense in general was really solid as Lazio created chances and tried to equalize.
Inter was not as dominant in second half but they however found a way to scored the second goal with Bonny and they secured their win.
With this win, Inter Milan take back their 1st place in Serie A with 25 points. Lazio are 9th with 15 points.
