Juventus unable to win at Villareal

In an extremely close but not particularly tight game, Villareal and Juventus offered a really good game for soccer fans as we saw 4 goals with 4 different goalscorers in the game. It started at the 18′ minute with Villareal scoring the 1st goal. Georges Mikautadze (recruited from Lyon this summer) finished a chance that he provoked himself, assisted by Nicolas Pépé.

At the 23′ minute, Weston McKennie almost equalized after a beautiful header but Arnau Tenas saved it. Tajon Buchanan had a great opportunity to score the 2-0 goal after a powerful shot but saved by Mattia Perin. 1-0 Villareal at the break.

At the 47′ minute, Jonathan David missed the unmissable after a cross from Francisco Conceicao. Fortunately for him and Juventus, Federico Gatti equalized 2 minutes later with a FABULOUS BICYCLE KICK after a header from Lloyd Kelly.

At the 56′ minute, Juventus took the lead after a wonderful recovery from Francisco Conceicao who only enetered 10 minutes ago, big impact in the game for the Portuguese. But Villareal kept pushing and showed the entire soccer world how much this game was tough for both teams, at the 90′ minute they equalized at 2-2 with Renato Veiga on a corner. The former Juventus player did not hesitate to celebrate his goal.

Both teams are pretty struggling after 2 matchdays of Champions League, Juventus are 23rd while Villareal are 26th (out of 36 teams).
