The hosts raced into an early lead as Gonzalo García opened the scoring inside the first few minutes, setting the tone. However, Vinícius Júnior restored Madrid’s advantage from the spot, converting a penalty just after the half-hour mark. Minutes later Federico Valverde extended the lead with a well-worked finish to make it 3-1 before the break. Madrid continued to dominate after the interval, and Vini struck again from the penalty spot to complete his brace and make it 4.

The victory highlighted Real Madrid’s attacking depth and clinical edge in front of goal. Real Sociedad fought hard but were ultimately undone by moments of individual brilliance from the hosts. This result keeps Real Madrid firmly in the title race, strengthening their position at the top of La Liga. For Sociedad, the defeat is a setback, though they showed glimpses of promise despite the scoreline.
