West Ham 0-2 Liverpool

Alexander Isak 60′ and Cody Gakpo 90’+2.

After 3 consecutive losses, Liverpool needed for sure a win in Premier League in London against West Ham. Arne Slot’s players did the job with a 2-0 win over a weak West Ham team. However Liverpool were not as good as the result shows. They did not dominate the game as well and needed to wait the second half to score with a brilliant team move between Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak who finished the chance.

Liverpool tried to score the second goal to secure their win and West Ham was trying to equalize but they were not enough dangerous against Liverpool’s defense. Cody Gakpo, after his assist earlier, scored in extra time to make it 2-0 and allows his team to taste victory again.

Aston Villa 1-0 Wolves

Boubacar Kamara 67′.

Unai Emery continues to do a fantastic job as Aston Villa manager, the Villans are on a five-game winning streak after beating the very last in the championship Wolverhampton. This game was not easy as both defenses were on a good day, Aston Villa had to wait the second half to see their players score with Boubacar Kamara who delivered the whole stadium. Wolves remain last with 9 points behind the first non-relegation spot.

Nottingham Forest 0-2 Brighton

Maxim De Cuyper 45’+1 and Stefanos Tzimas 88′.

After a couple of promising years in Premier League, Brighton continues to shine despite their player sales in recent years. The Seagulls are currently 5th in Premier League after beating Nottingham Forest away with goals from De Cuyper and Tzimas. With a great midfield battle between both teams, Brighton emerge victorious.
