Another night, another masterclass from Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. In a wild, card-filled encounter — one red apiece — PSG blew Bayer Leverkusen apart with a staggering 7–2 victory.

At this point, what more can be said about this Paris team? Superlatives in any language feel inadequate to describe the brilliance of Luis Enrique’s side. And yet, the night didn’t start perfectly. After an early opener from Willian Pacho, PSG handed Leverkusen a lifeline with a penalty conceded by an off-form Ilya Zabarnyi. Alejandro Grimaldo missed from the spot, but moments later Zabarnyi was sent off for another reckless challenge, gifting the Germans a second penalty — this time converted by Aleix García.

Down to 10 men, PSG looked vulnerable… until Leverkusen’s Andrich was also shown red, leveling the numbers. From there, Paris simply unleashed chaos. Désiré Doué continued his meteoric rise with a clinical brace, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added another in style to make it 4–1 before halftime.

Leverkusen managed to pull one back through García — his second of the night — but PSG’s avalanche continued. Three more goals followed, including a special moment for Ousmane Dembélé, who marked his return from a September injury with a goal that sent the Parc des Princes into raptures.

A wild, chaotic night — but another reminder that this PSG side can thrive no matter how the game unfolds.
