Unfortunately, soccer fans didn’t have much to cheer about this weekend in Serie A. With only nine goals scored in nine games, the league may have just set a sad record.

Atalanta 0-0 Lazio

For this game between two great teams in Serie A, soccer fans got unfortunately bored as both teams were unable to score despite a clear domination from Atalanta. Lazio’s goalkeeper Ivan Provedel was the man of the match with a total of 6 saves. Atalanta are 8th and Lazio 11th.

Genoa 0-0 Parma

Another game without a single goal between Genoa and Parma. Abdoulaye Ndiaye from Parma got ejected at the 42′ minute leaving his teammates at 10 for the rest of the game, they were able to maintain the draw. Zion Suzuki made 7 saves. Genoa are 19th and Parma 15th.

Cagliari 0-2 Bologna

Emil Holm 31′ and Riccardo Orsolini 80′.

Bologna dominated Cagliari as they are now 5th in Serie A after a good start of the season. The Swedish Emil Holm scored the first goal at the 31′ minute for Bologna and at the 80′ minute Riccardo Orsolini scored the second goal. Cagliari are now 12th.
