FC Séville 4-1 FC Barcelona

After a loss at Camp Nou against PSG in Champions League, Barcelona needed to regain confidence in LaLiga against Séville, but in the end, Hansi Flick’s players played even less well than against PSG. Indeed, The Blaugranas lost 4-1 in a thriller that saw Séville win in a wonderful way.
With Raphinha and Yamal absent, Barcelona conceded a lot of chances at the very beginning of the game, Araujo commited a foul at the 10′ minute, the eternal and former Barcelona player Alexis Sanchez scored the penalty. Sévilla kept pushing and scored the second goal at the 36′ minute with striker Isaac Romero who missed a couple of chances earlier, assist from Ruben Vargas.

In the second half, game got more tense with a couple of yellow cards for both teams and less chances. Barcelona tried to equalize but were never able to. At the 73′ minute, Adnan Januzaj made a foul, penalty for Barcelona who had the opportunity to get back, but the penalty was missed by Robert Lewaandowski. It went even worse for them as Séville scored the 3-1 at the 90′ minute of the game after a beautiful counterattack, goal from José Angel who made a fantastic game as Right Back. And because it was not enough for Séville, they scored a 4th goal at the 90+6′ with Akor Adams.
Unbelievable result for Séville with 4 different goalscorers and a lot of chances created.
With this terrible loss, Barcelona are now second just behind Real Madrid, Séville climbs at the 8th place in LaLiga.
