For this Group E match between Spain and Georgia, as part of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, European champions Spain easily won the match 4-0 as the Georgians were dominated from the 1st until the last minute of the game.

Spain did their job in the first half, they scored 3 goals in the first 45 minutes as they created all the chances of the period (Georgia shot 0 times in the first half). Oyarzabal, Zubimendi and Ferran Torres all scored their goal.

In the second half Spain slowed down and “only” scored once with a brace from Oyarzabal. Georgia tried more and shot 6 times but they were unable to come back as Spain’s level was too high for them.

With 5 wins in 5 games and a comfortable goal average, Spain are now almost qualified for 2026 FIFA World Cup (they must not lose by 7 goals against Turkey), Georgia were already out of the fight.
