Ernest Poku opened the scoreline at the 22′ minute before Edmond Tapsoba scored the 2-0 goal at the 52′ minute thanks to the assist from Grimaldo. A comfortable win for Leverkusen who are now hoping to finish in Bundesliga top 4 which would allow them fo go in Champions League.

After a complicated start of the season, Mainz’ players wanted to bounce back against a suprising Stuttgart side. It started well for them as they opened the scoreline at the 41′ minute on penalty (transformed by Amiri). But just before the break Stuttgart equalized with Chris Fuhrich which helped them to keep hope for the second half. After a good second half for both sides. Mainz’ defense finally gave in after a goal from Deniz Undav who helped once again his team to take the 3 points.
