Ajax Amsterdam continues to disappoint this season. The Dutch side is the only one of the 36 teams in the Champions League not to have picked up a single point after five matchdays. Today, they lost 2-0 at home to Benfica. Ajax is now bottom of the table with 0 points, while Benfica moves up to 29th place with 3 points, picking up its first points in the Champions League this season.

Galatasaray 0-1 Union Saint Gilloise

Galatasaray, which had won three of their four Champions League matches up to that point, lost momentum at home against Belgium’s Union Saint Gilloise. The Turks never found a way to score, and USG, which also played well, took advantage at the scoreline at the 57th minute. Galatasaray remains in 11th place with 9 points. USG moves up to 22nd place with 6 points.
