Overview

The Morocco under-23 national football team represents Morocco in international youth competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations U23 and Olympic qualifying tournaments organised by the Confederation of African Football. The team is administered by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and draws players from domestic clubs as well as European leagues, reflecting the broad diaspora of Moroccan footballers playing abroad.

Among the players associated with the squad, Achraf Hakimi is the most widely recognised, having developed into a prominent professional at club level in Europe. Others in the group include R. Ghanimi, M. Mohamedi, A. Nakach, M. Boukamir, and H. Manaout. The team has no major senior titles on record at this level.

Morocco's youth football structure has historically aimed to supply the senior national team with technically developed players. The under-23 programme forms a significant part of that development pathway.
