Overview

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team represents the country in international association football and is governed by the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded in 1992 following the dissolution of Yugoslavia. The team competes under UEFA and FIFA and plays its home matches primarily at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica. The squad has not won a major international title, though it qualified for its first FIFA World Cup finals in 2014, reaching the group stage in Brazil.

The team has historically produced technically capable players and has been competitive within UEFA qualifying campaigns. Current squad members of note include goalkeeper Nicolas Vasilj, along with outfield players such as Amar Dedic, Dario Hadzikadunic, Amer Malic, Mihael Zlomislic, and M. Jurkas.
