Overview

The Denmark women's national football team represents Denmark in international women's football and is governed by the Danish Football Union, which was founded in 1889. The team competes in UEFA European Championship qualifying and has participated in FIFA Women's World Cup tournaments over the course of several decades. Denmark reached the final of the UEFA Women's Championship in 1995, finishing as runners-up, which remains among the most prominent results in the team's senior history.

The squad has produced a number of recognised players at both domestic and international level. Among the current notable figures are L. Christensen, M. Østergaard, F. Thisgaard, A. Vingum, S. Ballisager, and S. Boye. The team has not won a major senior international title.

Denmark operates within a competitive European field and has qualified for multiple major tournaments across different eras. The team continues to develop through the structures of the Danish Football Union.
