Moore captained England to the 1966 World Cup and received the trophy from Queen Elizabeth II at Wembley. He made 544 appearances for West Ham United between 1958 and 1974. He lifted the FA Cup in 1964 and the European Cup Winners’ Cup a year later. He won 108 caps for England between 1962 and 1973. He joined Fulham in 1974 and faced his old club in the 1975 FA Cup final. Moore died on 24 February 1993, aged 51.
