Del Piero scored 208 goals in 513 appearances for Juventus between 1993 and 2012. He won the Champions League in 1996 and stayed with the club after relegation to Serie B in 2006. He scored Italy’s second goal in the 2006 World Cup semi-final against Germany, in the 121st minute. He finished as Serie A’s leading scorer in 2007–08, at 33. He moved to Sydney FC in 2012 and scored 24 goals in Australia.
