Kenny Dalglish scored 111 goals in 204 games for Celtic before Liverpool signed him in 1977 for a British record fee. He added 118 goals across 355 appearances at Anfield and won three European Cups, in 1978, 1981 and 1984. He took over as player-manager in 1985 and won the league and FA Cup double the following season. His 102 caps for Scotland brought 30 goals. The FWA named him Footballer of the Year in 1979 and again in 1983.
