Kahn spent fourteen years at Bayern Munich, playing 429 games and winning eight Bundesliga titles. He saved three penalties in the 2001 Champions League final shootout against Valencia. At the 2002 World Cup he conceded one goal in Germany’s six matches before the final and won the Golden Ball, the only goalkeeper to take that award. He spilled Rivaldo’s shot for the opening goal that night. He retired in 2008.
