2026 World Cup Qualifiers Review – Europe Zone – October 11, 2025

Norway 5-0 Israel

Anan Khalaili 18′ (own goal), Erling Haaland 27′, 63′ and 72′. Idan Nachmias 28′ (own goal).

Norway and Erling Haaland destroyed Israel as the striker scored another hat-trick. Norway are still a fantastic 1st in their group with their perfect attack. Two israelians scored an own goal in what was a complicated night for the defense.

Spain 2-0 Georgia

Yérémi Pino 24′ and Mikel Oyarzabal 64′.

Spain easily beat Georgia, the spanish had 83% ball possession during the game (!!) De la Fuente’s players confirmed they will be alongside the favorites during the World Cup this summer. Spain are still 1st of the group, Georgia are 3rd.

Portugal 1-0 Ireland

Ruben Neves 90+1.

Portugal struggled to score against Ireland despite 30 shots made and only 2 for their opponents. They had to wait the extra time with Ruben Neves delivering his country. Portugal are still a solid 1st in their group. Ireland are last.

Estonia 1-3 Italia

Rauno Sappinen 76′ for Estonia. Moise Kean 4′, Mateo Retegui 38′ and Francesco Esposito 74′ for Italia.

Italia needed a win in Estonia to make sure they are still alive in their group. They did it perfectly with a 100% controlled performance. Only one shot on target for Estonia (they still managed to score). 65% of ball possession and 24 shots made, all the players shined with Moise Kean, Mateo Retegui and Francesco Esposito scoring the italian goals.
