Manchester City 2-0 Everton
Erling Haaland 58′ and 63′.

International break or not, Erling Haaland does not have to adapt himself as he scored once again a brace.
For the count of the 8th matchday of Premier League, Manchester City received Everton. Pep Guardiola’s players dominated the whole game but had to wait the second half to see the unstoppable Haaland unlock the game.
Everton made a good start to the game and could have scored the first goal, after an interception from Iliman Ndiaye, the Senegalese crossed to Beto but the Portuguese was not able to shot on target. Manchester City had a couple of chances and, as always, had the ball possession but their offenses were not concrete enough to worry Everton.
In the second half, the Citizens finally disrupted Everton’s defense. Nico O’Reilly crossed to Haaland who scored, the Norwegian did not stop here as he scored the second goal only 5 minutes later with the assist from Savinho. Haaland scored 11 goals in 8 games in Premier League this season. He could have scored an hat-trick but Jordan Pickford saved it (the goalkeeper saved Everton a lot during the game).
Manchester City are now 2nd in Premier League 3 points behind Arsenal. Everton are 10th.
