After a complicated beginning of the season for Aston Villa, especially in the offense side of the game. Unai Emery’s players are bouncing back. Today they beat Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which means they now won 5 games in a row.

Despite the 3 points won, the soccer content during this game was really poor for both teams. Aston Villa scored two goals with only 0.37 expected goals, Tottenham’s defense can have regret and Aston Villa’s players can be proud of themselves with their realism.

It started badly for the Villans with Tottenham scoring the first goal at the 5′ minute with Rodrigo Bentancur after the assist from Palhinha. Morgan Rogers equalized at the 37′ minute. Tottenham kept pushing in the second half but got trapped by Aston Villa’s realism, Emiliano Buendia scored the game winner at the 77′ minute with the assist from Lucas Digne.

With this new win, Aston Villa are now 11th in Premier League, Tottenham are 6th with 14 points, two points behind Manchester City who are 2nd.
