Overview

Denmark's national football team represents the country in international association football and is governed by the Danish Football Union, founded in 1889. The team competes in UEFA competitions and has qualified for multiple FIFA World Cup tournaments. Its most significant achievement came at UEFA Euro 1992, when Denmark, having entered the tournament as a late replacement for Yugoslavia, defeated Germany in the final to claim the title.

The team plays in red and white, mirroring the colours of the Danish flag. Over the decades, Denmark has produced several players of international standing, and the current squad reflects that tradition.
