Overview

The Cyprus national football team represents Cyprus in international association football and is governed by the Cyprus Football Association, which was founded in 1934. The team competes in UEFA competitions and has participated in qualifying campaigns for the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA European Championship, though it has not qualified for the final tournament of either competition. Cyprus plays its home matches at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.

The team has not won a major international title. Its UEFA Nations League participation has provided additional competitive fixtures in recent years, and performances have varied across qualifying cycles. The squad draws primarily from the domestic Cypriot First Division, though some players have experience in leagues abroad.
