It was a dramatic day in the Premier League, with all four fixtures ending in narrow 2–1 scorelines. Brighton, Fulham, Manchester United and Arsenal each secured valuable wins in matches that stayed competitive until the final whistle.

Arsenal 2–1 Chelsea
William Saliba 21′ and Jurriën Timber 66′ for Arsenal. Piero Hincapié 45’+2 (own goal) for Chelsea.
In a tightly contested London derby, Arsenal edged Chelsea 2–1 to take a significant step forward in the title race. The match was evenly balanced for long stretches, with both sides showing intensity and organization in midfield.
What ultimately made the difference was Arsenal’s trademark weapon: set pieces. The Gunners struck twice from corners — a growing specialty under Mikel Arteta — punishing Chelsea’s defensive lapses in the box. Chelsea did respond with an equalizer and remained competitive throughout, keeping the pressure on until the final minutes.
Despite the balance of play, Arsenal showed the clinical edge of true contenders. Their ability to turn dead-ball situations into goals once again proved decisive in a high-stakes derby.
Fulham 2–1 Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Wilson 7′ and Alex Iwobi 34′ for Fulham. Richarlison 66′ for Tottenham.
Fulham produced one of the standout results of the day by comingfrom behind to beat Tottenham at Craven Cottage. Spurs started brightly and opened the scoring after a defensive mistake, looking in control during the early stages.
Fulham grew into the match and equalized just before halftime, shifting the momentum. In the second half, the hosts pressed more aggressively and were rewarded with a well-worked winning goal. Tottenham threatened late, but Fulham’s defensive organization held firm.

Manchester United 2–1 Crystal Palace
Bruno Fernandes 57′ (penalty) and Benjamin Šeško 65′ for Manchester United. Maxence Lacroix 4′ for Crystal Palace.
Manchester United secured a much-needed win at Old Trafford in a closely contested match against Crystal Palace. United struck first with a sharp attacking move, but Palace responded confidently and leveled the score.
The second half was open and tense until United finally found the decisive goal following sustained pressure. Palace pushed in the closing minutes, but the home side held on.
Brighton & Hove Albion 2–1 Nottingham Forest
Diego Gómez 6′ and Danny Welbeck 15′ for Brighton. Morgan Gibbs-White 13′ for Nottingham.
Brighton continued their strong form with a controlled but hard-fought victory over Nottingham Forest. The Seagulls dominated possession early and deservedly took the lead through patient buildup play. Forest responded well and managed to equalize after exploiting space behind Brighton’s high line, setting up a tense second half.
However, Brighton’s quality in the final third ultimately made the difference. Their winner came after sustained pressure around the box, and from there they managed the game intelligently. Forest pushed late but couldn’t find another breakthrough.
