Diego Forlán scored only 10 goals in two years at Manchester United. Villarreal revived him: 54 goals in 106 games and the European Golden Shoe in 2004–05. He won it again with Atlético Madrid in 2008–09, then scored both goals in the 2010 Europa League final against Fulham. He was named the best player of the 2010 World Cup and won the Copa América with Uruguay a year later.
