The rule nobody tells you: under seven, there is no jersey on its own
Nike sells the USMNT shirt to children in three tiers, and only one of them is a jersey you can buy by itself. Big Kids, roughly seven to fifteen years old in sizes XS to XL, get the standard Stadium shirt at 85 dollars, or 120 with a player name printed. Below that, Little Kids from three to seven and the Baby and Toddler range are sold as three piece kits only, shirt with shorts and socks, at 85 and around 75 dollars respectively. If you are shopping for a four year old and cannot find a shirt on its own, that is why.

What the 2026 kit looks like
Nike released both shirts on 16 March 2026. The home is nicknamed Stripes, red and white waves running across the chest and sleeves with a navy collar, a deliberate callback to the 2012 shirt American fans called the Where’s Waldo, itself a nod to 1994. The away is dark with a tonal star pattern that shows under floodlights and a silver crest. For the first time the numbers and letters use a typeface made specifically for this team.
Which name to print
Nike pre prints ten names on the youth shirts, and three sit at the front of the range: Pulisic, McKennie and Adams. Pulisic is also the only player name that shows up in what American parents actually type into Google alongside kids USA jersey. Worth knowing before you pay the extra 35 dollars: a printed shirt usually cannot be returned, and a child changes size faster than a squad changes.
The United States at their own World Cup
Useful context for a child who watched it. The United States won group D, a 4-1 win over Paraguay that is their highest scoring World Cup match, 2-0 against Australia, then a 3-2 defeat to Turkiye. They beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in the round of 32, a first knockout win since 2002, and lost 4-1 to Belgium in Seattle. Folarin Balogun scored three across the tournament, Malik Tillman twice.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a USA soccer jersey for a toddler?
Not as a jersey on its own. Nike sells the Baby and Toddler range, roughly three months to three years, and the Little Kids range, three to seven years, as three piece kits with shorts and socks. The first age you can buy a shirt by itself is Big Kids, which starts at about seven years old.
How much is the kids USA jersey?
The Big Kids Stadium shirt is 85 dollars, or 120 with a player name printed. The Big Kids Match authentic version is 155, or 190 printed. The Little Kids three piece kit is 85 and the Baby and Toddler kit around 75, discounted to roughly 64 in August 2026.
Which player name should I get?
Nike pre prints ten names, and Pulisic, McKennie and Adams are the three at the front of the range. Pulisic is the only one that appears in what American parents search alongside kids USA jersey. Remember that printed shirts usually cannot be returned.
What size should I order?
Big Kids sizes run XS to XL for roughly seven to fifteen years. Sizing runs slim, and since children are usually between two bands, the larger one is the safer buy because the shirt gets worn over a layer for half the year.
