Overview

The Mozambique national football team represents Mozambique in international association football and is governed by the Federação Moçambicana de Futebol, which was founded in 1976. The team is affiliated with FIFA and the Confederation of African Football. Mozambique has participated in qualifying competitions for the Africa Cup of Nations on multiple occasions but has not yet won a major senior international title.

The squad has featured several notable players in recent years, including Ernan Siluane, Kimiss, Bheu, Francisco Lopes Albino Muchanga, Edmilson Dove, and Ivane Carminio Francisco Oficial Urrubal.
