Overview
The New Zealand national football team represents the country in international men's association football and is governed by New Zealand Football, whose origins date to 1891. The team is commonly known as the All Whites, a name reflecting the predominantly white playing kit. They compete within the Oceania Football Confederation and have qualified for the FIFA World Cup on two occasions, most recently in 2010, where they drew all three group-stage matches and were not eliminated in the group stage.
New Zealand has not won a major senior international title. The team has, however, claimed the OFC Nations Cup on multiple occasions, establishing itself as one of the stronger sides within the Oceania region. Success beyond the confederation level has been limited.
The current squad includes goalkeeper Michael Crocombe, defenders such as Michael Boxall, Liberato Cacace, and Tyler Bindon, along with goalkeeper Max Woud and midfielder Alex Paulsen among its recognised players.
