Kaká joined AC Milan from São Paulo in 2003 and won Serie A in his first season. He scored 70 goals in 193 games for the club and finished as top scorer in the 2007 Champions League, which Milan won. He took the Ballon d’Or that December. Real Madrid bought him in 2009, but injuries held him to 85 appearances in four seasons. He was part of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup squad and closed his career with three seasons at Orlando City.
