Touré played center-back in Barcelona’s 2009 Champions League final win over Manchester United, filling in for two suspended defenders. He signed for Manchester City in 2010 and scored 62 goals in 230 appearances there. He scored the winner in both the 2011 FA Cup semi-final and the final, City’s first major trophy in 35 years. He was named African Footballer of the Year four times in a row from 2011. He won the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast in 2015.
