Overview
Bologna Football Club was founded in 1909 and is based in Bologna, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Bologna won several Italian league titles during the 1930s and 1940s, making that era the most successful period in the club's history. They have also competed in European competition on a number of occasions.
The club's colours are red and blue, worn in vertical stripes. Bologna has a long-established identity within Italian football and draws strong support from its home city. The squad has included players such as Łukasz Skorupski, Federico Ravaglia, Matteo Pessina, Matteo Franceschelli, Riccardo Gnudi, and Davide Baroncioni. The Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, which has hosted the club for decades, is also a historic venue in Italian football more broadly.
